Data Controller & DPO

Who is responsible for your data and how to contact our Data Protection Officer.

Who is the Data Controller?

AIM (the multi-AI platform described in Introduction & Definitions) acts as the Data Controller for personal data processed when you use the AIM website, the AIM application, and any optional integrations you voluntarily connect (e.g., Google). For collaboration areas and certain Enterprise features, roles may vary (see Role Allocation below).

Controller identity

  • Legal entity: AIM, represented by its co-founders, Malo Josselin and Mathieu Bielle

  • Registered address: {Street, City, Postal Code, Country}

  • Company / Trade register no.: {Number}

  • VAT / Tax ID: {Number}

  • Privacy email: {privacy@aim.example}

  • Data subject rights portal: /privacy/rights

Data Protection Officer (DPO)

A Data Protection Officer oversees our privacy program and is your point of contact for questions about this policy and our practices.

  • DPO: Malo Josselin & Mathieu Bielle (Co-Founders)

  • DPO contact (email): {dpo@aim.example}

  • DPO postal address: {If different from the controller}

For faster handling of access, deletion, portability, or objection requests, please use the rights portal at /privacy/rights. This helps us verify your identity and track your request.
Note: If local law requires appointing an independent DPO, we will update this page accordingly while keeping Malo Josselin and Mathieu Bielle as executive contacts.

EU/UK Representatives (Article 27)

If AIM has no establishment in the EU and/or the UK, we designate local representatives for regulatory contact:

  • EU Representative: {Company Name, Address, Email}

  • UK Representative: {Company Name, Address, Email}

If AIM is established in the EU/UK, this section may not apply. Keep this block only if required.

Role Allocation (Controller vs. Processor)

AIM’s role depends on context:

  • Controller (AIM) — Typically for: account management, product operations, security & fraud prevention, analytics (as described in our Privacy Policy), and optional integrations you connect for your own use. Malo Josselin and Mathieu Bielle oversee these activities at the executive level.

  • Processor (AIM) for Enterprise Workspaces — When an Enterprise Customer administers a workspace, that Customer is usually the Controller for member content and configuration; AIM acts as Processor under the applicable Data Processing Agreement (DPA). Executive oversight remains with Malo Josselin and Mathieu Bielle.

  • Joint controllers — Not our default. If a joint-controller setup is needed for a specific feature, we will provide a dedicated notice describing roles and contact points.

Supervisory Authority & Complaints

You may contact your local Supervisory Authority at any time. If AIM has an EU lead authority or a UK ICO liaison, we will list it here:

  • Lead Supervisory Authority: {Authority name, Country}

  • Authority website/contact: {URL or email}

We encourage you to contact us first so we can address your concern quickly. Malo Josselin and Mathieu Bielle review escalations.

Languages & Availability

We provide support in English (and additional languages as available). For faster handling, please submit requests in English or in the language of your account region. Business hours and service levels may vary by region.

Security of Correspondence

For your protection, AIM may limit sensitive data shared by email and use secure channels for identity documents or verification steps. Please do not include passwords or full payment details in messages.

Conclusion

AIM, acting as the Data Controller and represented by co-founders Malo Josselin and Mathieu Bielle, is committed to lawfulness, transparency, minimization, security, and accountability in every processing activity. If you have questions or need help, use our rights portal at /privacy/rights for access, deletion, portability, or objection; for complex matters, write to {dpo@aim.example}; for general privacy queries, contact {privacy@aim.example}. We aim to respond within one month (extensions only as permitted by law) and may request information to verify your identity. If an issue remains unresolved, you can contact your local Supervisory Authority. This page will be updated as our practices evolve—see Effective date and Last updated above.
